With millions of baby boomers retiring within the next decade, Senior active living centers are becoming more popular. Located in Winter Park, FL our site has become a destination for those seeking for a close knit community.
The program is laid out along a common path that has different stops along the way leading into communal spaces, similar to the idea of the train that runs through Park Avenue. This train was used to stitch together different communities within Central Florida.

THE COMMON PATH
The program is organized along a common path representing the train that passes through Winter Park. The train has multiple stops along the common path, this allows for people with different destinations to interact at a micro-scale as well as at a macro-scale with the places encountered. By having the programmatic elements become part of the common path, it allows people to pause in these spaces, as well as interact with different people that they would otherwise pass by.
